The Dell EMC Utah building at Draper City's Vista Station has officially opened! We had a wonderful ribbon-cutting ceremony with several attendees, including:
Here are some key points from the remarks made by our executives:
Here are some key points from the remarks made by Governor Herbert:
  • Utah is one of the top states in the nation for IT jobs with a base of more than 65,000 people across approximately 4,000 companies
  • Utah ranks #2 in the nation for tech job growth with an annual growth rate of almost 6%
  • Utah’s “Silicon Slopes” has garnered national attention from USA Today, CNBC, TechCrunch, Fast Company and other major media outlets
  • The partnership with Dell EMC is very strong and productive
Not only did we celebrate the entire building, but we also inaugurated a new Global Command Center for our Virtustream business. Finally, I was very pleased to announce that our new building is LEED Silver certified and powered by 100% renewable energy.

After the ceremonial ribbon-cutting, remarks and tours, we had a fun employee appreciation celebration that included, food, music, magic, and more. It was a great event! Here are a few pictures . . .

  1. Its a pretty neat coincidence that the Vista Station building was build so close to the time Dell and EMC combined/acquired/merged. The building really shows off the new Dell EMC brand. I wonder if this building is the first newly built building in the two companies to be the first and only ever building to don the Dell EMC brand?
Also curious on whether the merger will result in Dell extending or speeding up the timeline for new building being built at the Vista station.

  2. I am in love with the pictures from the grand opening. I really liked that you shared the photos with all these details. We are also launching our new product and would like to host the promotional party at one of the local LA venues. Hope everything goes as planned.
